  1. Rehabilitation Project at State Route 112 in Long Island Now Complete. Improvements to a 1.7-mile stretch of State Route 112 in Suffolk County, Long Island are now complete. The $32.7 million project spans from Medford to Coram and includes wider travel lanes, new turning lanes at key intersections, pull-off areas for buses, new drains for storm water runoff, and a landscaped median. Additional improvements include dedicated bike lanes in both directions, new sidewalks, curb ramps, reflective pavement markings, and crossing signals to enhance safety for pedestrians.   2. Suspect Charged In Attempted Robbery In Wading River. A Coram man was arrested on charges of attempted robbery and petit larceny last night in Wading River. Riverhead Police said John M. Marchese, 30, entered the Speedway Gas store at 6305 Route 25A last night at about 8:15 p.m., demanded cash from an employee and then removed an item from the store without paying for it. Vandermeulen High School on the outdoor cafeteria patio.
