Remember 9/11, Summer Swelter for Wednesday in Port Jeff

Good morning Port Jefferson, it is already Wednesday. Here's what's happening around town today.

-Summer isn't over just yet. It's going to be a hot one today. According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 84 degrees.

-St. Charles Hospital is having a free lecture for seniors on stress awareness and prevention. 

-The Port Jefferson Fire Department will hold its annual 9/11 memorial ceremony at the firehouse on Maple Place at 9:30 a.m  It will include a reading of the names of the 31 firefighters from the Town of Brookhaven who died.
