Roadwork on Village Streets Continues This Week

Village announces planned schedule.

Contractors expect to finish paving on Winston Drive in Port Jefferson village on Monday and have a slate of other improvements scheduled for the rest of the week, according to an announcement on the village website.

Crystal Brook Hollow Road may also see paving action on Monday.

On Tuesday, emulsion will be started on Old Post Road, with a binder paving on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday, the emulsion phase will be completed on Arlington Avenue.

No work is scheduled on July 4 in observance of the national holiday, and on Friday, binder work will either be finished on Old Post Road if necessary or be started on Arlington Road, depending upon the work flow earlier in the week.

The contractor performing the work is Kings Park Industries.
