3. A woman was transported to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation due to a fire at her residence in Coram. Police reported the incident at the Third Street home at 12:17 p.m. Official reports say the fire started in the kitchen. No further details were released. (Port Jefferson Patch)
4. A new accusation against Rep. George Santos is being investigated. Santos is accused of stealing money from a GoFundMe campaign to help a veteran's dog.
