Here are the top stories today in Port Jefferson:
- A dog who was stolen from a Huntington home during a burglary on Thursday was found safe and returned to her owners on Saturday, Suffolk police said. Stella, a 4-year-old French bulldog, was found on Rhododendron Drive in Center Moriches by a woman, police said. The woman's neighbors recognized Stella as the missing dog, police said. Stella was returned to her owners. The burglar(s) have not yet been arrested, police said. (Patch)
- Long Island shops offer special deals for Small Business Saturday. Long Islanders got their holiday shopping done at some of their favorite mom-and-pop shops during Small Business Saturday. Port Jefferson Small Shop owner says the day is a reminder that not every purchase needs to made online. (News12)
