Here are the top stories today in Port Jefferson:

1. A dog who was stolen from a Huntington home during a burglary on Thursday was found safe and returned to her owners on Saturday, Suffolk police said. Stella, a 4-year-old French bulldog, was found on Rhododendron Drive in Center Moriches by a woman, police said. The woman's neighbors recognized Stella as the missing dog, police said. Stella was returned to her owners. The burglar(s) have not yet been arrested, police said. (Patch)
2. Long Island shops offer special deals for Small Business Saturday. Long Islanders got their holiday shopping done at some of their favorite mom-and-pop shops during Small Business Saturday. Port Jefferson Small Shop owner says the day is a reminder that not every purchase needs to made online. (News12)
