  1. Powerful Storms Topple Tees And Damage Homes In Suffolk. A sudden hail storm Saturday afternoon has left widespread damage across Suffolk County. Strong winds destroyed a Chipotle and damaged several other businesses at a strip mall on Montauk Highway in Shirley. Officials say people were inside the restaurant, but no one was hurt. (News12)
  2. Port Jefferson Names National Honor Society Inductees. Four students from Earl L. Vandermeulen High School have been accepted into the National Honor Society.
    The district congratulates Grace Chambers, Jedd Kronberg, Caelan Schretzmayer and Michael Tesser for pledging to uphold the purpose and principles of the society, including scholarship, leadership, service and character. (Press Release Desk)
  3. The Port Jefferson Varsity Boys Cross-Country Team came away victorious at the divisional meet at Sunken Meadow State Park. The team edged out Bayport-Blue Point by one point to secure the Division IV championship.
