PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A Brentwood assaulted a man, critically injuring him, outside his Port Jefferson Station home on Friday afternoon, Suffolk police said. Felix Martinez beat a 56-year-old man in front of a Jarvin Road home at around 12:40 p.m. The man, who lives at the address, was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police. Martinez, 46, was charged with assault and was held overnight for arraignment in First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday, police said. Further details were not immediately released.
