The Dish: Exploring the Savory Side of New Crêpe and Rice Pudding Café

Patch recently had the chance to try a couple of flavors of rice pudding at Sweet n' Savory, the new crêpe and rice pudding bar in downtown Port Jefferson, and we promised we'd return to test out its other offerings, too. When you order a savory crêpe, not only do you get a fairly large portion – but you also get to watch it made from scratch right in front of you.

The Dish: Savory Chicken Crêpe ($9.50)

What's Inside: You can select from a menu of crêpes or create your own. This time around, we tried a custom crêpe with chicken, mozzerella cheese, pesto, mushrooms & red peppers.

Eat This Because: Simply put, this crêpe rivaled any sandwich or wrap you can buy at any café in Port Jefferson. It's large enough for lunch, or makes for a good snack for two to share.
