Theatre Three To Celebrate 50 Years With Gala

Theatre Three, the historic year-round professional regional theater in Port Jefferson, is commemorating its 50th year with a gala celebration on June 7.

Founded in 1969, Theatre Three is a not-for-profit that presents a diverse slate of programs from revivals of classics to modern works.

The 50th anniversary celebration will feature three weekend events, starting with a social gathering with Theatre Alumni and Friends on Friday, June 5. On Saturday, June 6, the theater will host a formal sit-down celebration dinner at Danford's in Port Jefferson, which will honor Theatre Three and its artistic director, Jeffrey Sanzel. The celebration will end with a 50th anniversary show on Sunday, June 7.
