Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt is Open for Business
Tutti Frutti offers alternative ice cream option with new soy bean frozen yogurt.
Tutti Frutti has been opened for business for a little over a month now in the HomeGoods shopping center on 5510 Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station. What makes this frozen yogurt shop special is that it's soy bean frozen yogurt, meaning that it's made from a soy base eliminating artificial flavors.
It's a guilt-free dessert because it's gluten free, non-fat, free of GMO, and has added protein to help complete your diet.
Jericho resident and owner of the shop, Jungho Yoo, said he has waited over two years to find the right location and knew Port Jefferson Station was where he wanted to open his shop. "There is something about the fresh air here and the community. I have been waiting a long time to open this shop and I am excited," said Yoo.
Yoo said he specializes in making all of the frozen yogurt in-house and can make any flavor that's in high demand. "I just made a brand new flavor, peach. So many people would come in asking for it, so I wanted to make sure we put it out there. We can make anything," said Yoo.
"My yogurt is not as sweet or bitter as some others. I work hard to make it taste so good. I just hope people keep coming in because it's important to eat healthy."
The average Tutti Frutti purchase will cost around $5.
