- March is almost here, and I am sure many of you are looking forward to the warmer weather spring may bring. As the daffodils sprout in the village, many upcoming events will occur in Port Jefferson. The 6th Annual Golf Classic-Putt & Pub Crawl is on Mach 4, followed by The True Things Story Telling on March 11, and then the Classic Chili Crawl on Mar. 18. - Port Jefferson Station student was surprised by the early homecoming of their military father! Staff Sgt. William Flaherty, who is back in the U.S. from Iraq, stopped at Comsewogue High School to meet up with his daughter Taliah. (TRB News Media)
- Mount Sinai resident Edward Perkowski Sr. was granted $100,001 over a lawsuit he filed against the Town of Brookhaven over the loss of his rental home. Perkowski's son was arrested under weapon possession in 2016, but after that, the Town unlawfully condemned the house, forcing Perkowski to move out. Read the whole story here. (Patch)
- Port Jefferson Theatre Three's “Festival of One Act Plays” has been organized by artistic Director Jeffrey Sanzel for the 24th year!
