Vandermeulen's Garant Performs at Music Festival

Earl L. Vandermeulen High School senior Parris Garant recently performed in the 2015 Suffolk County Music Educator’s Association All-County Music Festival, held on Nov. 19, 20 and 21.

Garant was selected along with others from across Suffolk County as a result of a competitive application process, which included a review of the students’ NYSSMA scores and teacher recommendations.

Garant also sings with the school’s choir and chamber choir. She was also recently named as a scholar-artist by the Long Island Arts Alliance for her vocal abilities.
