Where Was the Redfern Shop?

The Redfern Shop is no more in Port Jefferson. This photo is from a postcard that is postmarked January 10, 1928 and depicts a bygone era in the village. Although the streets are still there, the storefronts have changed.

Once, this store was "the leading women’s apparel shop of Suffolk County."
