Woman Riding Bicycle Struck In Port Jefferson Station: Police

She was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center with "non-life-threatening injuries," Suffolk police said.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A woman riding a bicycle was struck by a car at the intersection of routes 112 and 347 in Port Jefferson Station on Thursday, Suffolk County police said.

The woman was struck by a 2020 Chevy four-door sedan at about 12:25 p.m, and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center with “non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.

The driver of the Chevy was not injured, according to police. Police did not immediately release any further information.
