'1st Nutcracker Of The Season For Children' Comes To Port Washington

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — A child-friendly production of the Nutcracker ballet is coming to Landmark on Main Street November 26 and 27. It will be the 35th Annual Nutcracker Ballet Production from Long Island Ballet Theatre, and the 23rd year the show will be performed at the Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark.

The ballet is abridged and narrated, so it's appropriate for children as young as three years old, according to the theater. The performers are aspiring professional dancers from New York and surrounding areas.

The Nov. 26 shows are at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and the Nov. 27 show is at 2 p.m.
