30th Annual HarborFest Returns To Port Washington On June 5
The beloved, nautical festival will take place on Sunday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Town Dock.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Shopping, crafts, games, and fun. You can find all of this — and so much more — at Port Washington's 30th annual HarborFest this weekend.
The festival, which promotes businesses and vendors, will take place on Sunday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Town Dock. There also will be sunset cruises aboard the Elixir on Saturday at 6 and 7 p.m.
Bobbie Polay, executive director of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, said event organizers are planning special activities that will make Sunday's nautical festival "the best ever."

"We are thrilled to announce the return of HarborFest and hope you will be part of the excitement for this beloved community event," Polay said in an email to the Port Washington community. "(T)he Manhasset Bay waterfront will come alive to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors who flock to the Town Dock to enjoy this environmentally focused nautical festival."
Event highlights include a craft show, fireboat demonstrations, a children's fun park containing games, science fun, a new nautical exhibit in the Tugboat Museum, kayaking and paddleboarding, free tote bags, and a food court showcasing local Port Washington food.

Parking is free, and so are trolley and shuttle buses from the Long Island Railroad Station and Manorhaven Park. Admission is also free, unless on a cruise.
HarborFest is presented by the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce and the Town of North Hempstead.
