$50K Donation Given To Port Washington Adult Activities Center
The Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation provided the gift.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington Adult Activities Center has recently received a $50,000 donation from the Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation.
The funding will be used to improve services and programs for seniors this year, including expanding the Center's nutrition program, special events, and cultural outings, according to the Center.
Along with this, the gift will also support upgraded monthly holiday and seasonal luncheons, help keep lunch costs low, and assist in funding kitchen equipment. Furthermore, it will also help with transportation for day trips, interactive gaming systems, and outings for members.

Debbie Greco Cohen, executive director of the Center, said this donation will help support local seniors.
"The Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation’s extraordinary generosity continues to directly
improve the lives of our members,” Cohen said.

The Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation has been in partnership with the Center for years, helping to make costs more affordable and accessible for local seniors, the Center said.
The Port Washington Adult Activities Center was established in 1961 and offers meals, fitness and education classes, outings, and social activities and events for local seniors to provide learning, connection, and community.
The Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation is a philanthropic organization, and its mission is to improve community members' lives in Port Washington and neighboring towns.
