Search Ongoing For Missing Roosevelt Teen: Police
The girl was last seen leaving her home on foot Saturday, Dec. 27, police say.
ROOSEVELT, NY. — Authorities are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl Friday after she was reported missing from her home in Roosevelt Thursday, police said.
Nassau County Police said Friday that 13-year-old Deysi Batres was last seen leaving her Roosevelt home on foot on Saturday, Dec. 27. Police described Batres as a 13-year-old Hispanic girl standing 5-feet, 3-inches, weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her clothing, police said, is unknown.
Police encouraged anyone with information regarding Batres’ whereabouts to contact the missing persons squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
