Helen’s Walk, the annual 5K event presented by the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults, is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th.
The spring time weather will decide this year’s special give-a- way for each individual walker who raises $50 or more and is present the day of the WALK. A sunny day will result in a sporty “fanny pack.” This gift provides a convenient way to hold your valuables and water bottle as you walk. If it is a rainy day, the give-a-way will be an umbrella.
Pre-registration can be done by logging on to www.HKNC.org. Or you can visit our Facebook page @ Helen’s Walk(HKNC) and follow the link to the website. Check-in and Registration is from 8:00-9:00 am at the Sands Point Park & Preserve, 127 Middle Neck Road, Sands Point. Om Sweet Om will be leading a morning stretch prior to the WALK.
