Painting with Flowers to Host Local Artisans Event

Painting with Flowers is sponsoring a local artisans event on Saturday May 5 from 3-7 p.m. There will be three featured products at the event.  

"This is the perfect time to buy unique gifts for Mother's Day and support local artisans from our area," says Gayle Silver, owner of Painting with Flowers.  

My Cup of Cake, an all-natural Belgian Chocolate Soufflé that even the novice baker can prepare in less than three minutes, will distribute its new flavor collection: Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel, Grand Marnier, and Aztec Hot Chocolate. Presenting the new flavors? Port's own Sharon Tracy, the company's founder.

Also on this day, come and meet Jared Gettinger, founder of a new line of soaps and candles called LOVE NATURE NYC. Gettinger's natural products are packaged using recycled materials. His products are free of synthetics and chemicals.

Drop by and experience the new Beach Fragrances, inspired by the East End of Long Island. Mary Cossa and her partner, Anne Palermo will introduce the floral notes of the Hamptons and the fresh scents of the ocean. Splash on Montauk, East Hampton or South Hampton for a taste of an early summer breezes.

"This is the ideal time to meet local entrepreneurs and support their new businesses," notes Lori Murphy, manager of Painting with Flowers.
