Schimel Joins GCP Fire Department Drive

Assemb. Michelle Schimel has joined the Garden City Park Fire Department in reaching out to help a Long Island firefighter whose home was destroyed by fire.

Donations for the family of Chief Joe Bouderau of the Meadowmere Park Fire Department can be brought to Assemblywoman Schimel’s District Office at 45 N. Station Plaza, Suite 203 in Great Neck. The family is in need of children’s clothing for their sons Dennis, age 10 and Charlie, age 3, and daughter Allana, age 1.

Items needed include:
Allana, who wears size 24 months or 2T, wears a size 4 diaper
Charlie wears a size 2T or 3T and a size 61/2 shoe
Dennis wears a size 10-12 shirt, a size 8 pants, and 1 ½ shoe
House wares including sheets, towels, and toiletries
