US Merchant Marine Academy Holds Party at Local VFW Post

United States Merchant Marine Academy of Kings Point Class of 2012 held a class party at the local VFW Post.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Henderson-Marino Post 1819 of Port Washington allowed the senior classmen to use the post for a winter party. The cadets decorated the post and supplied drinks and food as well as their own disc jockey.

Post Commander John Chalker, Quartermaster Owen Costello, Viet Nam veteran Pete Ripullone and Sean Chalker provided host serviceswhile the cadets enjoyed a well-deserved social event at the post. The cadets had a wonderful time and the post comrades were honored tohost them. Good luck to all the USMMA cadets!
