BID Awards Chief Graphix $5,000 Grant

The new business received a grant from the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District.

The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District recently awarded a local business a $5,000 grant.

Chief Graphix, located at 26 Davis Ave., offers custom graphics, vehicle wraps, fleet wraps and truck wraps services. The business received a Facade Rehabilitation Grant, which helps provide rehabilitation to exterior building facades of businesses in the BID.

"The grant money awarded to Chief Graphix was used to help pay for the exterior renovations to the building," says Chief Graphix owner JB Meyer.

The building before renovations.

The building, prior to renovations, was dilapidated. "The building has all new windows, new overhead garage doors, exterior painting and more," Meyer says.

Each grant is awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
