BID Awards Danceworks, NY $2,000 Grant
The business received a grant from the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District.
The Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District recently awarded a local business a $2,000 grant.
Danceworks, NY is located at 10 Shore Road, Suite 10. The dance studio has been in the Port Washington community for over 12 years, but was not located within the BID district until recently.
"The BID grant money will be used for improvements to the once vacant space," Danceworks, NY owner Trish Gargani said.

"The purpose of the New Tenant Bonus Program is to allow our organization to help start a business within the BID District," Mariann Dalimonte, BID executive director, said in a press release. " We are excited that Danceworks, NY has moved into our district and we wish them much success."
