BID Awards Spivak Custom Design $2,000 Grant

The owner plans to use the money to make some improvements to their business.

A Port Washington business was recently awarded $2,000 through the Greater Port Washington Business Improvement District's New Tenant Bonus Program.

Spivak Custom Design, located at 305 Main St., plans to use the grand to update their new showroom and market their business, according to owner Gene Spivak.

"The purpose of the New Tenant Bonus Program is to allow our organization to help start a business within the BID District," Mariann Dailmonte, executive director of the BID, said. "We are excited that Spivak Custom Design has chosen Port Washington and we wish them much success."
