Boat-In Movie Experience Sailing Into Port Washington: Sept. 17
On Sept. 17, boaters can gather off the shores of North Hempstead Beach Park and watch DC Comics' "Aquaman."

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — We've all heard of drive-in theaters. But how about boat-in theaters?
It's a new movie-going experience that sailing across the U.S. And now the Town of North Hempstead wants to try it out.
On Sept. 17, boaters can gather off the shores of North Hempstead Beach Park and watch DC Comics' "Aquaman," starring Jason Momoa. Movie audio will be provided with a localized FM radio broadcast on 89.3 FM.

"North Hempstead is proud to host this boat-in movie for residents to enjoy a night out on Hempstead Harbor," said Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth. "Building on the success of our popular drive-in movie series, we are testing the waters with this new innovative concept. Pack a picnic and enjoy a film under the stars."
The event begins at 8 p.m. No advance registration is required.
