Bridgeport Man Charged With Driving Under the Influence in Fairfield

Jimmy Sullivan, 52, of Glendale Avenue in Bridgeport, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane in connection with a car accident from back in February, the Fairfield Citizen reported.

Sullivan was traveling east on Holland Hill Road in Fairfield when he crossed over the double-yellow traffic line, and hit a snow bank and a tree at around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, according to the Citizen.

First-responders had to extract Sullivan from the vehicle and took him to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment, the Citizen reported. Sullivan is scheduled to appear at Superior Court in Bridgeport on May 26.
