Brooklyn Man Charged With Stealing $23K-Worth From Nassau Stores: PD
Police say the 18-year-old stole from Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Nordstrom stores across Nassau beginning in June 2022.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — An 18-year-old from Brooklyn was arrested after a six month-long investigation and charged with stealing more than $23,000 worth of merchandise from Nassau County department stores, police say.
Nassau police say Maki Davis stole from Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Nordstrom stores across the county, beginning in June of this year. He is charged with several counts of grand larceny.
The store thefts occurred on multiple dates, police say, and the items stolen were worth $15,805 from Marshalls stores, $3,648 from T.J. Maxx stores and $3,952 from Nordstrom stores. Police did not give the exact store locations.

Davis was arraigned Saturday in Hempstead.
