Cops: Manhasset Man Arrested for Driving While On Drugs

A 47-year old suspect driving erratically was stopped on Northern Blvd.

A Manhasset man faces charges after Nassau County Police spotted him weaving through traffic on Northern Boulevard in Manhasset Wednesday night.

According to police, an officer from the Third Precinct spotted the defendant, Kenny Ho, 47, of 183 Crabapple Road, driving a 2005 Lexus in an erratic manner westbound on Northern Boulevard at 11:10 p.m.  

The officer pulled Ho over, and after investigating, determined that Ho was operating under the influence of drugs. During a search incidental to the arrest, police say Ho was found to possess various pills. Police also say they recovered multiple bottles containing hundreds of pills believed to be Hydrocodone, Escitalopram and Carisoprodol in the defendant’s car.

The vehicle was impounded. There were no reported injuries, according to police.

Ho is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of driving while ability impaired, failure to stay in a single lane and impeding traffic.

He was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
