PORT WASHINGTON, NY — North Shore Animal League America is partnering with a Brooklyn taproom to host a mobile adoption event on Saturday. Because there are few things better than hanging with dogs while drinking a cold one.
The four-hour event at Wild East Brewing Company kicks off at noon and will feature live music, food trucks, and games. The Port Washington-based nonprofit has collaborated with Wild East Brewing Company to launch adoptable animal-themed four-packs of beers. According to event organizers, $1 from the sale of each four-pack will be donated to support Animal League America's rescue and welfare work.
Those interested in attending Saturday's event must be 21 or older. Wild East Brewing Company's taproom is located at 623 Sackett St.
