Dogs, Owners To Cruise Around Manhattan On Charity Boat Ride Sunday
The Howling Halloween Pup Cruise is a fundraiser for North Shore Animal League, which will also have a mobile adoption unit at Pier 83.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Ever wanted to sail around Manhattan with your pooch? This Sunday, a fundraising event from North Shore Animal League is giving pet owners that chance. The boat ride, dubbed "Howling Halloween Pup Cruise," departs Sunday at 11 a.m. from Pier 83.
All of the proceeds from the tickets to Circle Line will go to supporting the League's no-kill shelter in Port Washington.
Tickets are $30 for the one-hour cruise. There will be a costume contest for pets and their owners.

At the pier from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., puppies and dogs in need of homes will be available to meet.
