Fashion Resale Company The RealReal Coming To Manhasset

MANHASSET, NY — The RealReal, a purveyor of secondhand luxury fashion, is opening a store next to the Americana Manhasset this year.

It is not immediately known when the store will open. But The RealReal says the 3,100-square-foot space will feature two luxury consignment offices and sell handbags, shoes, accessories, fine jewelry and watches, home and art, and items for kids.

"The RealReal's unique service model focuses on removing friction from the consignment process and instead, fosters trusted relationships with buyers and consignors through our authentication process that is overseen by hundreds of experts," the company said.

The experts authenticate items from dozens of designers, including Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada.

The Manhasset store will be The RealReal's 14th location nationwide. The company is also opening a pop-up boutique in Roslyn on Aug. 13.
