PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Manorhaven Village Hall is now home to a grab-n-go mini library, where residents can pick up a book anytime for free.

The "Little Free Library" box — which resembles a tiny wooden house — is the latest effort by the Port Washington Public Library to expand its reach within the community. It's located at the entrance of Village Hall.

"The Little Free Library belongs to everyone in our community. Anyone can use it," said Rachel Fox, the director of Children's Services for the public library system. "If you see a book you would like to read, please take it. When you are finished with the book, keep it, return it, or pass it on to a friend."
