ICYMI: Firefighters Battle Basement Fire In Port Washington
Firefighters responded to a report of a basement fire in Port Washington on Wednesday.
PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Crews were on the scene of a basement fire in Port Washington Wednesday afternoon.
The Port Washington Fire Department said it received a call about a fire at 38 Middle Neck Rd. around 12:28 p.m. About 50 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was under control in about 30 minutes, Chief Brian Waterson told Patch.
No injuries were reported.
