Landmark on Main Street, a local nonprofit for the performing arts, will be donating 100 percent of its ticket share — which is 50 percent of all sales — to the Afya Foundation, according to concert organizers. The Afya Foundation is a New York-based charity that is currently working with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health to deliver health and humanitarian supplies to the war-torn country.
Formed in 2004, Ukrainian folk quartet DakhaBrakha is known for combining the musical styles of multiple ethnic groups.

"Accompanied by Indian, Arabic, African, Russian, and Australian traditional instrumentation, the quartet's astonishingly powerful and uncompromising vocal range creates a trans-national sound rooted in Ukrainian culture," Landmark on Main Street said in a statement. "The band boasts specialists in Ukrainian folklore and music, and their sound mixes everything from pop-punk to traditional Ukrainian songs."
The band was forced to cut its Ukrainian tour short due to the Russian invasion.
Now back on the circuit, DakhaBrakha has decided to make an appearance in Port Washington. The Jeanne Rimsky Theater is the only venue on Long Island where DakhaBrakha will be performing, according to Landmark on Main Street.
In addition to seeing the show, Landmark on Main Street and WMI invite concert-goers to a pre-show reception and open bar for $75, with all proceeds going to the Afya Foundation. The reception will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the reception are also available on Landmark on Main Street's website.
