LIJSL Names Port Soccer Team Good Sports

A Port Washington team did more than win games, in the eyes of referees, these girls competed with class. 

The Long Island Junior Soccer League recently handed out its Sportsmanship award to the under-11 Wave Runners girls soccer team, according to coach Jessica Griffin.

Players: Erina Bardong, Avery Mannion, Eloise Griffin, Anna De Marchi, Olivia Thomas, Peyton Jordan, Helen Marcell, Madeline Hiller, Vanessa Boiardi, Angeline Kual, Ava Lavin, Eden Manes, Rachel McCallin and Micah Golan.

Coaches: Eduardo Espinoza, Victor Thomas, and Jessica Griffin.
