• Port Washington Adult Activities Center receives $50,000 grant for senior programs (longislandpress.com) — Port Washington seniors can look forward to expanded meals, classes, trips, and tech upgrades in 2026 thanks to a new $50,000 grant for the Port Washington Adult Activities Center from the Peter & Jeri Dejana Foundation. The funding will bolster affordable daily lunches, special luncheons, transportation for outings, new fitness and art programs, and a more user-friendly website for local older adults.
