Love Is In The Air: North Hempstead Couples Renew Vows On Feb. 14
Couples from the Town of North Hempstead renewed their vows at Town Hall on Valentine's Day.

MANHASSET, NY — The Town of North Hempstead continued its tradition as host of the 13th Annual Valentine's Day Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony on Feb. 14.
Town Clerk Ragini Srivastava was the officiant at the ceremony, which took place at Town Hall in Manhasset.
"Love is in the air here in the Town of North Hempstead," Supervisor Jennifer DeSena said. "Many thanks to Town Clerk Srivastava for hosting this special event that gave these couples the chance to renew their decades-long commitments to one another. It was an honor to share this wonderful day with the happy couples in attendance who declared their endless love for one another."

DeSena, celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary with her husband Ralph, offered congratulatory remarks and advice for a long marriage. That was followed by the warm wishes of councilmembers Dennis Walsh, Peter Zuckerman, Veronica Lurvey, and Mariann Dalimonte, along with Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman.
"I was so thrilled, excited, and honored to host this event for our residents," said Srivastava. "It was a beautiful ceremony where we were able to celebrate love and the commitment these couples have made to each other."
