LuminoCity Festival To Light Up Whitney Pond Park Through Jan. 9

MANHASSET, NY — A dazzling winter wonderland is coming to Manhasset's Whitney Pond Park this month.

On Nov. 12, the Town of North Hempstead will kick off LuminoCity Festival — a holiday event featuring illuminated works of art and one-of-a-kind handmade sculptures. The enchanting displays will be up through Jan. 9, 2022.

"LuminoCity and the Town of North Hempstead are proud to host an extraordinary festival at Whitney Pond Park in Manhasset this holiday season," the Town of North Hempstead and events management company LuminoCity said in a joint statement. "Working together, we have ensured that this will be a fun and safe event, at an ideal location, for Town residents of all ages."

This year's festival theme is Shine Again, and was "inspired by the power and warmth of light overcoming darkness," officials said.

Tickets will be sold for timed admission entry. All attendees ages 3 and up must have a ticket.
