Man Critically Injured In Roslyn Crash

A man rear-ended a tractor-trailer and was badly injured, police say.

ROSLYN, NY — A man is in critical condition after a collision in Roslyn on Friday night, Nassau police said.

A 29-year-old man was driving a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Northern Boulevard when he struck the back of a tractor-trailer driven by a 65-year-old man around 11:30 p.m., police said. The man was critically injured and brought to a nearby hospital, police said. The tractor-trailer driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the crash scene, police said.

Police are investigating.
