Man Tries To Rob Manhasset Bank
The man fled the bank on foot on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

A man tried to rob a bank in Manhasset on Wednesday afternoon, police say.
According to authorities, the man entered Wells Fargo, located at 355 Plandome Road, approached the teller and passed a note demanding money at 4:27 p.m.
The teller did not comply with the note. The man then fled on foot out the rear door.

- An attempted bank robbery was also reported in Nassau County earlier this week.
There were four employees and two customers inside the bank at the time of the incident. There were no reported injuries.
Police described the man as white, 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, thin build, and wearing a black knit hat, dark plaid scarf, blue jacket and light colored pants.
