Port Washington resident Sandra Riano was the recent recipient of two Nassau Community College awards.
On Tuesday, April 17th, Riano was awarded the "Who’s Who Among Students Award" and the "NCC Student Activities Award."
The "Who's Who Award" is awarded to full-time students who contribute to student life at NCC through extracurricular activities or athletic programs.

The "Student Activities Award," presented by the Student Activities Staff, is given to students who make important contributions to student activities or athletic programs.
Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and have completed at least 45 credits to be considered for these awards.
