TOWN OF NORTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — The Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of Nassau County were recognized on Friday for their donations of homemade masks to local residents.

As part of the Town's mask-making initiative, Scouts were provided with step-by-step tutorials to make masks and a blank card for them to include a personal note to the recipient. Over the course of a month, over 100 masks were created and donated to the North Hempstead Housing Authority, which distributed the masks to residents.
