Nassau County Police reported the following driving while intoxicated incidents. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.
- Aug. 24: Danny Walsh, 63, of Floral Park, charged on Main Street and E. Broadway in Roslyn Heights.
- Aug. 25: Jorge A. Salazar Ibarra, 30, of Woodside, charged on Bryant Avenue in Roslyn Harbor.
- Aug. 26: Esperanza Viera, 24, of Bay Shore, charged on Austin Boulevard and Marina Path in North Long Beach.
- Aug. 26: Carlos Guaman, 33, of Maryland, charged on I-495 Exit 4 in North Hills.
- Aug. 29: Rut K. Torres, 23, of Central Islip, charged on I-495 Exit 36 in North Hills.
- Aug. 29: Jose Amilcar Benitez Castro, 35, of Glen Cove, charged on Glen Cove Road and Elm Street in Greenvale.
