No Injuries in Port Washington School Bus Accident
Incident occurred during Wednesday morning's rush hour, police said

No injuries were reported after a mini school bus slid off the road on Central Drive in Port Washington Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Port Washington Police said the incident was reported at 7:33 a.m.
”The bus slid off the road into a snow bank as the roadway had become icy,” Police Chief James Salerno said.

There were no students on the bus, only the driver and a bus monitor, police said.
Central Drive was closed until Nassau County sand trucks could respond and sand the road, Salerno said. The road was reopened at about 9:25 a.m.
