North Hempstead Fireworks Display Set For Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day weekend, swing by North Hempstead Beach Park for the Town's fireworks display.

PORT WASHINGTON, NY — The Port Washington skyline will light up once again this Labor Day weekend for North Hempstead's annual fireworks display.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4 at North Hempstead Beach Park. Doors will open at 3 p.m. and the festivities will kick off at 6 p.m., beginning with a live musical performance by Kamellot. The fireworks display will begin promptly at 8:15 p.m.

"We invite residents to join us for a beautiful day at the beach, followed by music, and a dazzling display of fireworks that will illuminate the sky," said Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth. "This is sure to be a fun night out for the entire family."

Vehicles will be charged a $10 (cash) parking fee. Walk-in and drop-offs will not be permitted. The event is for North Hempstead residents only.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own snacks as food and refreshments will not be available for purchase. Attendees are also welcome to bring towels or beach chairs.
