Office Manager Stole From Manhasset Employer For 9 Years: Police

A woman was arrested on Tuesday for falsifying business records and stealing from her Manhasset employer for nearly nine years, police say.

According to authorities, Erika Lucassi, 36, of Ozone Park, stole an undisclosed amount of money while working as an office manager at Manhasset Dental, P.C.

Police say she issued fraudulent business checks to herself from January of 2009 until December 2017.

She was arrested without incident and charged with second-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.

She will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
