Paradigm Gives Back to the Community this Holiday Season

The Port Washington Parent Resource Center say they recently received a "generous" donation from Paradigm Sample.

The gift, made just before the holiday season, went toward the Outreach Program, which provides early childhood educational experiences for children up to age 4 who come from low-income families in Port Washington.

The amount of the donation was not made available by the Parent Resource Center to Patch.

The program prepares the kids for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten by providing a structured class from September through June, summer field trips that offer enriching educational experiences, and a scholarship fund which enables children from low-income families to participate in all of PRC’s classes and programs.

“We are grateful to Paradigm Sample for this donation, which will greatly help our Outreach Program.” said Leila Noor, director of development for the PRC.

Approximately 75 children benefit from the Outreach program each year.

“We believe that all children should be given the opportunity of early childhood educational experiences, prior to entering the school system.” said Sima Vasa, co-CEO of Paradigm Sample. “This is why we are so pleased to contribute to the PRC Outreach Program and its cause.”
