EAST HILLS, NY — With Passover only a few weeks away, there are thousands of Long Islanders who struggle to afford basic necessities, especially during the holidays.
Met Council's Passover food distribution provides critical relief for more than 250,000 New Yorkers with essential Passover staples.
Sid Jacobson JCC Annex is schedule to hold a Passover distribution on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m.

"Passover is the most expensive time of year for many New Yorkers, and we are making sure that everyone who needs help gets it. No one should have to choose between paying rent and putting food on the table, especially during the holidays," said Met Council CEO David G. Greenfield.
Met Council provides families with matzah, chicken, fish, grape juice, oil, eggs, fresh produce, and many other holiday necessities.
