• Port Washington PAL sues over Sunset Park facilities (newsday.com) — Port Washington’s Police Athletic League is suing the local Water Pollution Control District after refusing to sign a new license agreement that could end its decades-long use of Sunset Park’s fields and courts. PAL leaders say the district’s new conditions are unreasonable and politically motivated, while district officials have declined to discuss the lawsuit’s claims in detail.
